Do you suffer from RSI? Do you want to know what you can do to make your RSI better? Is there something you can do? Do you know what RSI is? If you are one of the many that are stuck working either at a desk, in a production line, or something else, then you should know. Many can and many do suffer from RSI. It is a fact of life, but knowing what to do and how to treat RSI is one step you can take to make sure that it doesn't take over your life.

Many do not know what RSI is, they also don't realize that the aches and pains that they are having are from this condition. RSI or Repetitive Stress Injury is a what you can get from seating or standing or typing or whatever it is that you do. It is a work related injury that many suffer from, the most common would be carpal tunnel syndrome. It can affect your hands, fingers, wrists, arms, upper back, neck, and shoulders. It is nothing to take lightly, for you are living with pain if you have RSI. You don't have to.

If you have RSI it is treatable. Your doctor will be able to tell you more on what options are best for you. The best treatment is to take care of yourself. Along with your doctors instructions you have to follow them to the letter, if you don't then your set yourself up for more pain and another round of RSI. That is what got you in this place to begin with. Yes, it is hard to not do anything, when you are used to doing it all. It is one of those things you will have to learn to do, no matter how difficult it maybe.

You can also have physical therapy as a option. If your RSI is bad enough for this or if you require some sort of surgery, then this will be your next route to a full recovery. If you make a living at your computer there are other ways to type, without your hands. Get speech programs and learn them. This will help your recovery because you are working but not with your hands. It is a option and should be considered. You may find that braces of some sort will help or prescriptions. These can help with swelling as well.

The thing is that you will find many things that may help you. The best way to know what will work best for you is to talk with your doctor about the options and treatments available to you. You have to follow those plans through to the bitter end or you will risk being back at square one. If you are like most then any time out of work or other things really takes a toll on your whole life style. RSI isn't fun, but it is very treatable, if you just take it seriously. After all, do you want to be in pain for the rest of your life?
